About Older Orphans
A cleft palate, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, or even significant cognitive impairments should not mean a life sentence. But, sadly, that's the situation for too many young people who are orphans living in institutions in China. My vision is to help these older, and usually disabled, orphans live happy and meaningful lives in China by building life skills, finding their place in a community, and learning how to support themselves. This isn't just about saving lives, this is about saving lives for something, for meaningful purpose-filled lives full of love, joy and opportunity.
