August 2024 saw me returning to Thailand. For a month I helped to manage the Juniper Tree under the watchful eye of my dear friend Kun Air. I definitely enjoyed the managerial aspects of coordinating reservations, arrivals and departures. But far more than that was the opportunity to meet the Lord's servants from all over south Asia. It was a blessing to me to hear their stories, share their excitement about new assignments and the bittersweet season of returning "home" after leaving the places that had been home for twenty years and more. I am so thankful for each family, couple, and individual who shared a bit of their journey with me. Baking cookies, celebrating birthdays, and dog sitting! Two of my kids (and a boyfriend) joined me in Thailand and then for some travel in Cambodia and Vietnam.
