So here's the story: In August (August!) I had the bright idea to ask a person we know who was coming to the US if she could bring an extra checked bag with stuff from Kristen's room. Our dear teammate, Alison, facetimed (or something) with Kristen, going around her room, through her closets, into boxes while Kristen indicated which items were the highest priorities. Alison then packed everything into a spare carry on bag, ready to be whisked to the US.
Unfortunately, Plan A didn't go to plan. But soon our dear teammates in Hengyang initiated Plan B. They decided to ship the bag to Kristen, at great expense and great trouble (certainly more than anticipated). There was a lot of paperwork, multiple phone calls, and lots of waiting, BUT...

It's here!!  It's here!!  And I am filled with thankfulness. So is Kristen.

Ta da!!

My thankful cup is really overflowing today. I can't tell you how anxiously I have been waiting to be able to post this. And today is THAT day!

While this may look like a fairly typical carry on bag, other than the stunning purple color, of course, it is NOT. Well, I guess it is, but it's pretty special because of WHERE it came from, WHAT is inside and the UTTERLY SPECIAL people who made a wish come true.

So what IS it? Okay, okay! This bag is packed full of Kristen goodies that have been stranded in China for the last 20 months.
